Bohua Academy Will Host Its 5th Concert
Bohua Academy will host its 5th concert in Poway Center for the Performing Arts on September 9, 2018. We sincerely invite people from all walks to the grand event to appreciate Chinese musical arts and share our love of traditional Chinese music instruments. We’ll witness together the achievements of the academy in its relentless strive for perfection Bohua Academy is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit cultural and educational organization. Its mission is to inherit Chinese classical art treasures and pass them down to future generations, to carry forward the spirit of Chinese traditional music, to disseminate the culture and to show the world the charm of Chinese art. For more than half a decade, Bohua Academy has been holding to the principle of serving the community and has participated in about 10 performing events and all kinds of charity activities. Its contribution to the community is well acknowledge. The up coming concert is indeed a grant event in the history of Bohua Academy. Every member of Bohua is looking forward to meeting you all at the concert this fall. We welcome your donations and advertisements. Any amount is greatly appreciated. 博华民族乐团从2005年建团到现在，已经走过了13年的历程。十三年，博华飞跃式的成长令人惊叹。2016年乐团成功地举行了10周年庆祝演出，这场演出被誉为“一席音乐盛宴”，震撼了圣地亚哥华人社区，惊呆了市政府的嘉宾，一位官员说：“真没想到圣地亚哥居然有这样一个高水准的乐团，你们演奏的音乐太美了，以后你们的演出我都要来看！”
二零一七年，喜讯更是接踵而至。博华民乐团在2017年香港第四届国际音乐节圣地亚哥赛区的比赛中，荣获集体第一名；同时博华还有六名选手在这次海选中胜出，获得了赴香港决赛的资格。在香港决赛中，乐团的Isabella Yang的二胡独奏赢得民族拉弦乐器少年组第六名， Katina Zhu的古筝独奏取得少年组弹拨乐第五名，Nicole Chen演奏的琵琶夺得少年组弹拨乐第四名。张小南的京胡取得成人组民族拉弦乐器第四名。 博华民族乐团赢得了民乐团公开组第二名。
值得一提的是，民乐团公开组的决赛评委由国家级的顶尖艺术家组成，他们听完博华的演奏后非常激动，评委陈鸿燕赞扬博华民族乐团的演出说：你们的《夜深沉》演奏得非常出色！“在那遥远的地方”有这么出色水平的中乐团，实在可贵，希望你们继续努力、加油！争去更大的胜利！
经过国际大赛洗礼的博华民族乐团涌现出一批新秀，他们将在这次第五届音乐会上挑大梁，为观众献上经典和新作。金秋时节，高山雄伟，流水不尽，月圆人团圆，精彩等着您！
